Eternal Memory
50,000+ compressed memories that survive forever.
ZYRAXON’s Eternal Memory stores everything you have discussed -- over 50,000 memories with automatic compression. Months later, the agent still recalls context from past sessions. It remembers everything, forever.
Memory architecture
| Layer | What it does |
|---|---|
| SQLite WAL | Persistent storage with 8 compound indexes |
| Ring buffer | Last 50 conversation pairs, crash-resilient |
| Brain daemon | Runs every second, tails the session database |
| permanent_brain.json | Live brain state |
| full_chat_history.txt | Static cache (85,000+ lines) |
| Compression | Automatic at 50K+ entries |
| Reset survival | Re-armed by the task scheduler on boot |
How it works
- ▸Every turn (your message plus the reply) is persisted automatically.
- ▸A ring buffer keeps recent messages hot in memory.
- ▸Older content is progressively compressed rather than deleted.
- ▸Relevant memories are injected into prompts via
memory/auto-injection.ts. - ▸Storage survives restarts -- even a full machine reset.

Why it matters
Decisions, conventions and architecture notes persist across sessions and projects, so the second week of a project starts with the first week’s context already loaded.
